At Planet Cabinets, we had the pleasure of completing this elegant kitchen remodel in a home on Ainslie Street, Chicago. The homeowners envisioned a timeless and functional space that would complement the home’s character—and we delivered.

This remodel features two-tone custom cabinetry, pairing rich olive-gray lower cabinets with cream-colored uppers that have a subtle glazed accent. The cabinetry is crafted in a shaker style with soft-close doors and drawers, topped with brushed copper hardware that adds warmth and elegance.

We installed durable, white quartz countertops with dramatic veining, giving the space a luxurious yet easy-to-maintain surface. A mix of vintage patterned tile and clean subway tile forms the backsplash, adding texture and personality while tying together both cabinet tones.

Additional upgrades included a beverage station with a built-in wine fridge, bronze fixtures, open shelving, and glass-paneled cabinets for both display and storage.
